Payout accounts are where your payouts arrive. They are managed per merchant and shared by every store you own. You can keep several on file and pick the destination each time you request a payout.

Adding a Payout Account

Verify your identity first

The holder name on every payout comes from your legal name, so you can’t add an account without a verified identity. See Identity Verification.

Open Payout Accounts

Click your avatar in the top-right and select Payout Accounts.

Pick the region and method, enter the account

Choose the receiving account’s country / region, currency and payout method, then fill in the fields that method needs. The holder name comes from your identity — you don’t type it.

Save

On the first payout to a new account the bank checks the holder name against your legal name; once it matches, the account is marked Verified.
ID numbers, bank account numbers and Alipay accounts show only their last few characters after saving.

Supported Regions and Payout Methods

  • Payout currency: your balance and payout amounts are in USD, converted at the rate when you submit the payout into your payout account’s currency: CNY for mainland China, SGD for Singapore, JPY for Japan, KRW for South Korea, and USD for Hong Kong and the United States. The final credited amount is whatever the payout actually delivers; Hong Kong accounts are credited in USD as-is, with HKD accounts opening later.
  • Bank list: the list is the set of banks the payout channel supports today; banks outside it can’t receive payouts yet.
  • Japanese accounts: enter only the 7-digit account number, with the branch code in its own field. Japanese banks match the katakana name registered on the account; if it differs from the Latin name in your identity, the payout may bounce — contact support.
  • Alipay limits: RMB 50,000 per payout and RMB 300,000 per recipient per year; use a bank card for larger amounts.

Managing Accounts

  • Add: within one region and currency, the same card or Alipay account can be added only once.
  • Delete: allowed when no payout to that account is in progress.
  • Change: accounts can’t be edited — delete and add again.
  • Choosing the destination: there is no default account; you pick one on every payout. Payouts are irreversible, so one extra click beats sending to the wrong account.

Common Issues

Usually an incomplete identity. Fill in the missing fields on Profile and try again — see Identity Verification.
It comes from your verified legal name, which prevents typos from bouncing a payout. Change the legal name on Profile; if it’s locked, contact support.
Not within the same region and currency. Hong Kong is the exception: one card can be added once for HKD and once for USD (HKD opens later).
Banks outside the list can’t receive payouts yet. Use an account at a listed bank, Alipay (mainland China) or PayNow (Singapore), or contact support.
The account’s bank code isn’t on the channel’s supported list — usually an account entered by hand before the bank picker existed. Delete it and add it again, choosing the bank from the list.

Sign in again for sensitive actions

If you signed in more than 24 hours ago, requesting a payout or adding or deleting a payout account asks you to sign in again. Use an email link or Google, return to the original page, then submit the operation again. Resubmitting a rejected payout request does not require this additional sign-in. These rules apply to merchant Dashboard sessions; API Key integrations are unaffected.
